Tascam dp-03sd
I have a Dachman 87i Mic that requires 48 volt phantom power. Will the Tascam DP-03SD comply with this?
Can't seem to find it on the on-line specs.
Thank you in advance.

@denverslim, Look in the Block Diagram signal flow schematic. That's the only place the phantom voltage is stated in the DP-03SD OM.

Except for p.33 of the OM, section titled "Using phantom power", in which it directs you to push the button on the front panel labeled [PHANTOM POWER].

@Mark Richards is right, phantom voltage is not specified in the manual where one would expect it to be (overview, part description, technical specifications/ratings).
Except for the Block diagram :)

As the OP noted
It’s not in the specs - either online or in the O/M spec list…
But it IS in the manual (see post above).
AND a dedicated button is in plain sight on the front panel of the unit.

@shredd to me the question sounds like "Does the DP-03SD provide 48V?". To my surprise -being it a Tascam product- the answer is not written in the manual I found online, except for a "+48V" label in the block diagram which is pretty... unusual. "Phantom" doesn't say much about how many Volts are supplied over XLR inputs, in fact there are mixer/recorders that can supply different voltages (to as low as 17 V) depending on their working mode and power source (mains or battery). Just to clarify post #5.

Hey @Max Relic -
That WAS OP's question...he said he couldn't find it in the specs (which it isn't, for some reason).
But it IS in the manual, in the section I referenced...I quote: "When connecting a condenser microphone that requires phantom power, follow the procedures below to turn phantom power ON. When phantom power is ON, phantom power is provided to the XLR jacks of both INPUT A and INPUT B"

And there's a PICTURE of the '03's screen when activating, with "48V for condenser mic" right on it. That's about as plain as can be...

@shredd thanks my friend for teaching me where to point my nose at when reading 😄 Definitely my eyesight is getting weaker!
I scanned that page of the manual a number of times at 100% zoom, also searching the document for "48" produced no (text) results... ah, well at least the OP got his/her answer after all. And we had the chance to spend some time chatting 🤣
