Looking to buy DM3200

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a DM3200 and am going through the manual to see if it meets most of my needs!

I read that the 16 busses only have Comp on them not EQ. Can the routing be assigned so that for instance you create a buss group for drums and with clever routing, route it as an input and then apply EQ? Or is there other ways of doing this kind of thing?

Also, how are Tascam at keeping up to current sofware, i.e do they/or will they support el capitan?
and future upgrades?

About your routing question: yes, you can assign several channels (i.e. drums) to one (mono) or two (stereo) busses and then using "loopback" route these busses to one or two other channels. On those channnels you can apply eq, comp, etc. These channels you can route to the output of your choice (using "direct") or assign them to yet other busses. There are countless routing possibilitities in the DM!
