Keep in mind that the MK1 was originally for the DM24. I believe it could be used in the DM3200 and 4800. If it does work, beware that you will be limited by the drivers which were last updated over 8 years ago.
I strongly recommend purchasing the MKII if you want full support of the latest operating systems as well as more I/O and reliability. Just one man's opinion.
@cmaffia i would love to get a MK2 card but for the price it just seems not to be worth it. 35% of the price of the dm4800 is kind of high. i want to use the dm for converters but for the cost of the card i can get an older high end converter. Granted i would get more channels with dm.
Those mkI cards were not that great ... I would think about it before paying for one of them. There's a reason they killed them pretty quickly. I had one in my DM24 for about a month and ditched it because of all the issues I had with it.
You can use the MK1, but you will have to move some jumpers ( se the manual). I tried it in my dm3200, and i dont recall only having 16 channels, it is more like 24, and i do not recall any driver issues.
