Hi there,
so this is a not so uncommon task I think - but the only result I got while trying was a big, fat, nasty feedback loop still ringing in my ears...so I'd rather ask this here before damaging anything...
OK, so what I do want is to record what I hear in my DAW. What do I hear? The output from my PC (mediaplayer, you tube etc.). So I got channels 15/16 of my DM3200 as my PC-Master-Out - input = input slots 1-1, 1-2.
Is there a way to record what I hear there to my DAW? I tried to think it over, but this is giving me knots in my head, because it should result in a feedback normally (which it does) but then I thought: hey, maybe there is a routing option in the digital domain that prevents from it? I hope I could state myself clearly: The Dm3200 acting as my soundcard is set to my PC, and I'd like to record what I hear from my PC directly into my DAW.
Thanks for any input on this - say 'no' to feedback-loops,
regards
