1st off Happy New Years to all ....... I have soloed a vocal track, I'm in remote mode and I was turning my pan knob hard left and right and I'm not hearing the panning results. I see the pan knob move in Pro Tools 10 mixer view but I'm not hearing the results in the speakers. Is this a configuration issue. Please advise.

Is this (mono, I assume) vocal track going to a stereo bus first before getting into the DM? If not, that explains the behaviour.

In PT10 yes the vocal track is mono going into a stereo bus. Can you further explain "getting into the DM". Does this means I don't have something configured correctly in PT10 or in the DM as I am in remote mode

Well your stereo bus inside Protools will probably follow your panning command, but translation of that to the real world (through the DM mixer and monitoring system) depends on routing in the DM - and by that also through a mixer layer with two connected (stereo) faders. I'd suggest playing a stereo source first and see how that is routed through the DM.
