Hello,
Excuse me if this is in the wrong section, please advise if I need to move it.
I am having some difficulties with audio, my Tascam 2400 is connected to my computer using USB. The channel 1-2 are being used as my computers audio bus so I can play back my recordings and general audio through it (this works fine). It is also set up for studio mixing for an output so that my various analog synths can be recorded in my DAW(SO7 and Abelton12) , I found that the default Multi input would not output for recording (not sure why, not a professional, I knew this was a setting I needed to change on my model 12).
My issue and question is how do I record audio without it playing through my speakers and just my head phones so I am not bothering people in the household.
I can now record and hear my computer audio as needed. My issue now is that in order to record I need to have the channel button engaged to the input I am using and slider up; I also need to have the Main slider up as well so that I am outputting audio to DAW to record.
How can I make it so that I can hear the audio through my headphones while still having the sliders up for recording, but no speaker audio unless needed. Is this possible?
I have tried to PFL everything but as soon as I turn down the main I loose the output audio to computer.
