DM-3200
Hello everyone, long time lurker - first time poster!

First of all , thanks to everyone on these forums for your posts and guidance, over the past year or so I have probably read posts from all 43 pages of this forum - and without it I would still be utterly confused by this desk!

- Currently I have a DM-3200 set up in a studio however the routing is not ideal and I'm overhauling my workflow to make things easier for myself.

- I have attached a routing chart to this post with my intentions - and have successfully routed all inputs, firewire settings and remote control how I want it.

- My only problems and confusion come from the AUX CHANNELS (1-8), the ASS. SENDS (1-4) and the STUDIO OUTS!

- - - - - -- - - - - -- - -

1 ) AUX CHANNELS 1-4 are routed to ASS SENDS 1-4 which are wired to 4 tie-lines through to the studio .

2) I wish to route AUX CHANNELS 5-6 to the STUDIO OUTPUTS so I can connect to my headphone amplifier (2 in, 6 out) - However! I cannot seem to find the option to do this - and all that comes out of the STUDIO OUTPUTS at the moment is my STEREO BUS?

----------------------

Any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks

Christian

Here's how I did it in my setup. Send the stereo tracks that your DAW is monitoring on playback through AUX 5/6. I have Track-31 and 32 as the source and route through a pair of the assignable outputs to my headphone amp.

Alternatively, if you still want to pursue your original plan, on Studio Output (right side) of the Monitor tab of the Monitor screen, you can select almost any output instead of "Stereo" if you desire, including AUX 5 & 6.
