DI Box - Guitar Level

Good day all. So, I received my Radial ProDi box a couple of days ago but only got around to mucking with it this afternoon.

Basic setup: Telecaster to DI input -> XLR out from DI (Mic cable) to channel 3 on my snake. The channel 3 input gain pot is set to approx two o'clock and channel 3 fader at unity (0)

I find that the input is really low and so is the recorded signal. Am I doing something wrong. It's been a while!

UPDATE: Seconds after posting this, Mr. Bonehead had a revelation. Hmmm... Peter I said; How about checking to see if the -15dB PAD was engaged. All good now! Sorry about that folks.

I was gonna suggest to turn the guitar volume up, but Mr. Bonehead apparently was ahead of me Have fun recording!

also,you could turn up the gain knob too
