I have successfully cascaded 2 DM4800 mixers.
The slave mixer has the proper beta software. Setup was a snap!
I have up to 24 auxes, and the automation works seamlessly on both units. Very fast and easy!!
Very tight and accurate time code following Cubase's VST timecode.
Mixer on the right receives the 32 firewire channels from Cubase. I then buss those signals out to the outboard, treat and then return to the left mixer via inserts / line ins. Turn on the automation and mix!! Very cool!
