I'm gettin' old...so it seems like some or other hero, celebrity, whatever is passing away every other day.
But this is a great loss. Not that most of you need me to point out how great he was - BUT - if you haven't gotten clued in to JB greatness, and you have ANY interest in great guitarists - you absolutely need to look into it. He was not only a fantastic player, groundbreaking in his talents, and in a class by himself...he was a reallllly nice guy.
I've been a JB fanboi for longer than most of you have been alive. But one of favorite RECENT memories is him on tour with his supporting band, and while the crowd when bonkers about sitting there watching HIM play, all HE did was point out how proud he was of his band...
