This is a 10+ year old US-1641. Playing through headphones about 95% of the time, and have gone through many headphones.
Recently, the sound in the headphones when either recording or mixing has a constant low-volume high-pitch sound, like a tweeter is busted in the headphones. However, when the same headphones are used for any other device, they sound just fine.
Is this an device (not player) aging issue?
Does this sound like an easy fix or should I replace this with a newer model based on its age?
Thanks
