TASCAM SS-R250N Memory Recorder

My collaborator picked one of these up for the studio last week at a phenomenal discount. Got it installed, set up the auto-recording feature and it has been bulletproof! What a great recorder. Using the AES-EBU i/o, it’s easy to configure and use, and for my purposes it has the ideal feature - standby recording with auto-detection and automatic uploading and downloading of completed recording .wavs to or from my file server via FTP.

If you have a moment, would you be willing to walk me/us through setting up the file server via FTP. I'm on a windows 10 PC, I have managed to access the SS-R250N via Filezilla and grab and copy the files, so I have that down, but I am not server fluent and there seem to be many steps and some that I am missing in order to get the benefits of FTP like the automatic upload.

Here is where I am just guessing and try and fail:

1. Install Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
2. Right Click on PC Name and add FTP Site in the IIS Manager
site name: TASCAM, physical path D:\SS-R250N
IP Address: All unassigned or use the number given in the drop down: 192.168.1.201?

Hey there - I don’t use PC, but other folks may be able to help. On Mac, I installed the ‘FTPServer’ app, which provides the simple FTP format needed to receive files automatically sent by the r250n when recording stops.
