This is a fairly old thread, but wow, I can't believe now one mentioned 96Khz.
It it the ONLY mixer it this price range and feature set to offer 96Khz.
I sold my DM-4800 (which did 96KHz no problem) because it was a bit old and missing some newer features that all modern mixers have, and firewire is mostly gone now. I have been trying to operate totally ITB only but it's too complicated when you are trying to record a full band with independent stereo monitor mixes for musicians.
So I'm eventually going back to a mixer and this is the only one to fit the bill below $10K.
I have owned many great Tascam products in the past, but it would be nice to have a choice.
At this point there is none.
