Tascam DM 4800 and IF-FW/DMMKII Firewire Card Won't Work With High Sierra

So I’m thinking, because I really want to be convinced that buying a DM 3200 or 4800 is a great buy. If I’m not able to interface via tascam FireWire card, can I interface via analog output (on dm) to my motu interface and still get automation control in the box using Logic Pro X or ProTools, via adat from DM to computer, or do I loose that analog automated fader Contol over the DAW without FireWire and no driver for OS X

Remote control for these mixers is not related to Firewire, but uses the USB connection. Whether Catalina can still install and run TMC I don't know.

Analog outs are very limited in number BTW, only 4 on the 3200.

I’m using High Sierra not Catalina I won’t go to Catalina at all I don’t think

Well, this topic is proof that High Sierra and the DM work. No need to bother with ADAT or TDIF then - and 32 channels in and out @ 96k at your hands.

I can confirm that High Sierra and the DM are working fine here.
Wonderful 32 channels of 96k IO.
Amazing that the DM continues to rock after all these years.

@Raul Rivera I am certain that the drivers that you require can be found right here. Once you are setup all you have to do is ask. We are always happy to help. As I have mentioned to you in a previous post I am running High Sierra and Logic Pro X in conjunction with my DM-4800. I'm not exactly sure what more you need to know. Please see screenshots:
