Printing Eq and Compression into DAW when recording instruments Model 12

Super basic question. I want to purchase a Model 12 but have some questions. I've searched the forums to find out if I can print eq and or compression to individual tracks when recording guitar, bass, etc. into my DAW. I find information on recording to SD cards but not straight into my DAW (In this case, Logic Pro). I want to make sure I can apply those effects to a track while recording into my DAW ( and bypass whenever I want to). Can this be done? Thanks.

I have no idea of what you meant when you said USB and MTR share the same send/return.

Did you read the manual? We always recommend to
a - read the manual
b - stick to Tascam terminology to let also members who don't own the unit to follow the discussion by consulting the manual.

*The Model series mixers are professional level tools.
*They require a minimum level of technical knowledge and understanding to use effectively.
*Download and study the owner manual before purchase to be sure it's the right tool for you.
*What Max wrote in previous post: use TASCAM terms when posting.
*And...we refer people to the owner manual if the answer is found there readily.

As previous posts mention: using pro-quality gear isn't like making pudding. It's critical to have SOME technical ability/know-how, and it's critical to learn/understand your gear as best as possible (even before purchase), if you want any hope of utilizing it in even a basic manner, let alone to the extent of its' capabilities.
Unless, of course, your idea of "pro gear" is more like this...

You don't fool me, two revealing details tell me that it isn't a "pro gear":
1 - Level knobs and input jacks are misaligned (so the signal is likely to get lost inside the box)
2 - there is only one LED for four channels, that's a cheap solution for sure!

That's a tough task, there isn't a block diagram to follow. So how did they manage to build the box? Drawing on the sand maybe!
