My "enter" button is becoming erratic

I guess it is probably the most used button on the board.
Lately, it is very unreliable.
Sometimes it works, but often, I have to press it multiple times to get a response.
Major problem for sessions, etc.

Any advice on restoring functionality without major surgery?

Or if I have to go "in"... is there a way to spray, or do I have to replace?

Weird that one little button can disable this wonderful sound machine.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Real simple. Get a can of DeOxit. This is typical of many digital boards. Spray a little into the button (no need to disassemble) while the machine is off and wiggle it gently while pushing down. Work it in for about 30 seconds, test and repeat if necessary. My 2nd DM was used and came with about 4 buttons with the same issue. DeOxit fixed them all permanently.

I have used the spray from the top of the panel for the big illuminated buttons and had good luck.
I tried it on the Enter button and got no results.
I guess it depends on how the spray gets in and where it goes.

Based on your suggestion I will try it again.

FWIW.... The Enter button is probably the most used button on the board.
I've had my DM for 7 years and I can only guess how many times it's been pressed.
The DM continues to be a cornerstone of my studio.

Thanks for your help.
I sprayed a ton of cleaner in and repeatedly pressed.
No go for many hours.
In fact, it seemed to get worse.
I was giving up the ghost.
Just tried it again.
Now the button is back on line.
Hallelujah!
