MIDI Rx Framing Error

The new battery didn't clear the error message so it looks like I'm in the market for another desk.
I suspect that the problem may be the card that controls both midi and the onboard ADAT. These didn't work on this desk prior to this problem. If I could source that card for a reasonable price, I'd give it a go and see if I can save this desk. Other than that, a replacement desk is the cheapest option I guess.

He has been advertising with sort of all parts from a DM3200 he took apart. Maybe your specific board is still available, if it's the same in both the 3200 and the 4800.

As I said before, your issue is probably main board related and we have confirmed that the 4800 main board is programmed differently than the 3200.
