Logic Pro X Stop function DM3200

Hopefully someone here can help me with this issue.

I'm running Logic on a Mac with a DM-3200 as my interface and controller. I can set it up to do all needed to be done, get it in record mode and start to record. Once it's recording, can't get it to stop no matter what I do unless I load a different song. It just will not stop even with the mouse. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? This doesn't occur with any other DAW. Just Logic. Please help if you can. I'm running High Sierra on my Mac Pro mid 2010. Thank you

What do you mean do you mean doesn’t stop in record mode? That is it keeps recording on and on and doesn’t stop?

Correct. I have to stop Logic or load a new song. No problems with all the other 3 DAW that I use

In Logic, go to Control Surfaces, Controller Assignments. Go to Zone and choose Transport/V Pot. Under Controls go to Stop, Play, and Record and disable Key Repeat.
