I hope I'm in the right place here with my FR-AV2, I haven't found it anywhere else.
I have two problems with the device:
First, I want to change the frame rate for the automatic timecode generator from 30 to 25 fps. I'm here in Europe and we film at 25 FPS. But I can't find a way to do this anywhere. I can only change the frame rate in freerun mode. Does anyone know how to do this?
Secondly, I had high hopes for a firmware update that might solve this problem. However, on the Tascam website there is only the firmware file to download, but no program where you can upload the firmware file to the recorder. And the instructions are silent on how to get the firmware file directly into the recorder. Perhaps there is a tip for this?
