I have Tascam MX-2424 and I have the following issue with it:
The firmware that is on the machine is v1.10 and I want to update it to v3.12 or v3.11
Steps I take to achieve the result:
1) I have the .exe file in the computer running Windows Vista which is connected via Ethernet with MX-2424
2) I have the TL Media Card in the MX-2424
3) From the computer using MX View I send the v312.exe file to the card in MX-2424 where the card first gets formatted and than the software is loaded and I have successful confirmation massage at the end of the process.
4) I turn OFF the MX-2424, wait for 30 sec, turn it ON and ... nothing happens
Tested it with 2 different cards -> result is the same ... nothing
When I load the firmware v1.10 via the menu in MX-2424 (backup the machine software onto the card) and then turn OFF and then ON --> the MX-2424 immediately gets in the firmware update mode...
My idea is that may be I cannot update directly from v1.10 to v3.12 ?!?! I want to try to upgrade to may be v2.xx something and then go to v3.12

I need firmware version prior to v.311 and after v1.10 if anyone has the file. I searched the net and couldn't find any ...
