Also how can I do a factory reset on the DV RA1000

Hello cmaffia,

Believe it or not, 10 years after your posts above, Tascam has released an updated version of the Hi-Res Editor with a few updates for both Windows and Mac, and now compatible with Apple silicon!!

I could not find it with your link above to the US Tascam website, but the Japan Tascam website does have it:
