I bought second hand meter bridge, unfortunately without a cable needed for connecting to DM4800.
I wrote to Tascam three times, no response. Some friends told me to call them, which I tried twice, but no answer on the telephone line too... Anyway, I decided to make it myself, it should be faster.
I'm just not sure about pinout. If it is straight pin, then it is actually extending printer cable, isn't it? It is D-sub 25 pin MALE to D-sub 25 pin FEMALE connector.
Problem is if it is not straight pin, so that's why I'm careful about connecting such cable, there could be some damage if it's wired wrong. I guess that there is pinout scheme inside of service manual for MU-1000.
Maybe somebody can check the connections on the both sides of a cable with digital multimeter and detect pinout? I would really appreciate that, if somebody has time and skills for that...
