I am new to the Forum, and if posting "for sale" items is not within the Forum's purview, my apologies, let me know and I'll take down. I live in the north Bay Area of California and have a 414 MK II Portastudio with which I have no experience and am not interested in keeping. I have tested out the unit through the simple recording phase as per the manual. Everything works except that Channel 3's volume is very low in comparison to that of the other 3 channels. Some research on this and other forum/discussion sites would seem to indicate that it may be a gain stage problem. I have no electronics experience, don't have a friend who has such, don't believe taking it to a professional would be cost-effective. It seems that these units sell for between $350 and $450 on Reverb, eBay, etc., if fully operational. Would anyone like to buy my unit for $200 or best reasonable offer?
