Hi,

I’m trying to use both AUX sends to get a stereo send to stereo effect pedals and then using channel 1+2 to return ththe signal. I get it to send and return the audio and I have set aux 1 to post fader. But It doesn’t sound like km getting a true stereo signal. When using the “bus” out it’s working great but not with aux so I don’t understand what could be wrong?

I have checked so levels are the same etc and can’t figure it out. Anyone try at has a clue or will this never work as I hope for and I will have to use BUS to get true stereo send and return?

Welcome to the forum. I don't have a Model 12 but the block diagram seems similar to the DP-24/32 in that the aux sends are mono signals (they are tapped off before the pan control), and on stereo tracks the aux is a mix of the left & right sides. On the DP, you can set up 2 tracks for holding left & right separately, then use send-1 for the left and send-2 for the right.

I think I might know what’s wrong. I used a stereo channel (7-8) on the Model 12 but I think I have to use two separate mono channels for this to work. ☺️

AUX busses are mono, SUB Bus is stereo. Sending a stereo channel like 7-8 or 9-10 to any AUX Send will result in a mono mix of left and right information.
Try connecting your stereo source to two mono inputs, hard pan them left-right then use AUX1 Send on the left channel and AUX2 Send on the right one (or the opposite if you like) to feed your stereo effect unit.
