Tascam TM-D1000

Do you happen to know anyone that knows anything about tm d1000. I just got one week ago and I having a two issue with it and the three manual doesn't help me. first issue is it will only select between eq and effect it skip over the aux selection which is between the two. The second is the effect i will not able to find the preset effects. This is my first digital board. I have always used anlog mixer board.
