Hi all,,, Dumb question time, but this pedal will allow me to punch in & out on a Model 16, w/o having to keep it depressed? The description of it being a 'momentary' switch is throwing me off...?

The term "momentary" refers to the action of the switch, not the application of pressure on the switch. You tap the switch, and the switch makes a "momentary" closure as opposed to being closed until you press it again to open it.
