Tascam DR-40 Dual Recording

Hi,

Tascam DR-40

When I try to enable "Dual recording" by pressing Rec Mode. Only Stereo & Mono are an option.
If I search for dual recording by pressing arrow up, the unit makes a click sound & shuts off immediately.
It use to work before & I have tried resetting several times with still no luck.

Does anyone know why

You’re on the right track - a [FactoryReset] is the first step; and I’d be inclined to suggest you download the current/latest firmware (perhaps yours is corrupted?).

After that, I’d be contacting Tascam tech support and/or getting it serviced.

Thanks, I believe that this unit is discontinued. Do you have a link to download this latest firmware please?
