TASCAM dm3200 and 4800 shutdown/startup issue

I own both 3200 and 4800, I’m sure someone’s covered this at some point but here goes. If I shut either mixer down using the proper shutdown method they shut down normal. Upon startup it loads and then the message appears that the device wasn’t shut down properly?? What gives?

@Steve714800 How about posting a screenshot of that message Steve. I find that this always helps. Is it the message that asks you to load the project from the the internal memory or CF Card?

Yes in that you receive a message asking you to load from intermal memory or CF Card? I see this often as well. Especially, when the last project that I was working on used a 48kHz frequence response. Rarely happens to me at 44khz. What I do sometimes is to CTRL-SHIFT-ALT. wait a few seconds, hit enter wait a few more seconds then power down the DM (if/when required). It's hit and miss mostly. If my memory serves me right I may have posted a similar question a while back but that did not yield many responses.

There were times when I actually thought about replacing the CF card altogether. I am not sure that would help though. Might be worth a shot! Best of luck. Wish I could be of more help
