Switching On/Off DM4800 display

Hi. Is there a possibility to switch On/Off the display?

can I ask why you don't want any info on what you are doing?

a piece of cardboard sticky taped over it?

I don't think there is a way to do it in software, but you could wire a switch to the display power wires.
Then you'd have to find a place to drill a hole, or find a way to get the wires out for the switch.
It could be done.

Maybe easier to get a piece of cardboard and put it over the display when you want it dark.
