Hello Fellows.. Long time...

Quick routing question:

I have a live multi-track session where the guitarist will use a Fishman tripleplay on a channel in the DAW and we need a return to monitor JUST that single channel back from Reaper so we can hear it live in the room?

How can this be accomplished? I guess I could go through a mess of muting and/or panning or using the input toggle and then use the studio out but that seems really clunky. There has to be a way that one track can be discreetly sent to an output... Right?

Please enlighten me friends!

Thanks!

Okay, maybe you've already figured this out, but I'll take a crack at it all the same.
Considering that the TriplePlay interfaces via USB and is utilized as a plugin (Unless being used in standalone mode), you should be able to create a mono output in Reaper (Routed to a return on the DM3200), feed the TriplePlay plugin output to it (via FX, Group, etc.), then blend it with your Stereo monitor on the DM. Similar to setting up an external effect unit I/O in your DAW, which the TriplePlay is, essentially.
Haven't used that particular unit, but I do a lot of tracking with a Roland GI-20 and a Godin Fretless Bass and Classical guitars. Other than the USB interface, we are essentially doing the same thing.
