I hope everyone is doing well? I am chugging along with recording and brought on a new Airgigs singer named Christian (from Poland). I felt like making a heavier song and had an old riff from my high school years that I finally employed. Song is named Opinionated SOB.
Opinionated SOB
This is a new one that features Tracy (lead) and Laura (backing and 3-part harmony) intentionally on the same song for the first time. It's a funk/dance number and was a lot of fun to make. These ladies spoil me! Song is named Get It Done
Get It Done
Christian did such a good job with OSOB that I sent him an offer to record on one of my older songs named In The Middle. This song also featured Tracy and Laura as an afterthought compiled from their individual versions recorded three months apart. I asked Chris (Christian) to make two separate version. One as his solo version and the other following Tracy as close as possible as a joint lead. I also asked him to make harmonies for the break. After listening to his solo version I told him that it makes me think of a Viking ship sailing to England for some plundering. I nicknamed it the Viking version, He thought it was funny and stated it could be adapted as Vikings fighting against the elites of the world to match the song lyrics. The following two versions have yet to be mix/mastered by Mariano.

This last version I am asking Laura to rerecord to follow Tracy and Chris as close as possible, Laura was the first singer to record the full version of this song three months prior to Tracy recording it. In this version I had to omit some of Laura's lines because they were never designed as a joint effort and wouldn't fit no matter how I edited them. This is a glimpse of the potential of the three of them together. If Laura agrees to rerecord her part I feel this could be polished into a kickass trio of rockers!
