I have been using M12 with Logic Pro for several years on my Mac (Ventura13.7.1) and never really had an issue recording through the M12 (as an audio interface) into Logic Pro.
Yesterday, I decided to try out Pro Tools Intro (free version). After a day, I have become very familiar with the interface and functionality.
Pro Tools instantly recognized the M12 (connected via USB-c connection). I selected it as the playback engine and audio output flows perfectly through the M12 and out of my monitors.
The I/O section of Pro Tools appears to be configured correctly according to tutorials (see screenshot), where the M12 is recognized as the audio interface.

Here's my issue:
I have a track where the input is set to the M12 channels 7-8. When I play the keyboard that is connected to channels 7-8 on the M12, I can see the signal on the meters and hear the audio coming through the M12 monitors. Setting the M12 channel mode to either live/direct or PC, the signal should flow to Pro Tools into the track where I set the input to 7-8, but it doesn't.
I know this same exact setup works fine using Logic Pro, so I'm hoping someone may have come across the same issue and knows how to fix.

I can provide answers to specific questions and more screenshots...Thanks.

I found the solution to the problem, so I hope this helps someone in the future. I believe Pro Tools Intro only allows four inputs from an audio interface. I was using inputs 7/8 on the Model 12. When I tried using Input 1, the signal came through loud and clear. I tested inputs 2/3/4 and they worked. When I tried 5/6, they did not work.
