For channels 7/8 and 9/10, one of the sides is always a little louder.

If I'm going into 7/8, 8 is louder.
If it's 9/10, 10 is louder.

I've tried with different sources and swapped which side from the source is going into which channel, but channels 8 and 10 are consistently louder than 7 and 9. The pans for both channels are set to center, and the difference shows up on the input meters, so I believe whatever is happening is happening before and of the other things I could do to it on the board. It also shows up if I use the model 12 as an interface to record direcly into my DAW.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there an offset I can change somewhere? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Will Kistler and welcome to the Tascam Forums. The Model 12 does not have separate trim adjustments for those stereo channels. All you can do is use the pan pot to touch up the balance between the inputs. Or, if there is some kind of adjustment on your source you could touch up the balance there. Using the pan pot to balance the level is standard practice in this situation.

Thank you for the quick response. I'm sure I'll be able to work around it, just thought there might be some way to adjust that I was missing. I appreciate the info
