I’m hoping someone out there can make me a copy of the JL Cooper software that was an add on to the M-3700. I’ve got a line on a Mac SE/30 and looking to get the whole setup going. Thanks.

Do you also have the optional, tiny JL Cooper circuit card installed in the lcd floppy housing of your 3700? If not, the vcas have no path out to a computer to communicate with the software since the console midi outs "alone" don't carry what the software needs for translation.

I bought the entire JL Cooper system when I bought my 3700 new in 1991 or whenever and I did keep floppy software copies (and also Montebello's stripped-down Faderview), but unless you have the required optional circuitboard, the software doesn't do anything.

I actually sold the circuit card and software some years back to someone (here I think).

I do not have that. I didn't realize there was another component necessary. I guess I'll keep an eye out for that. It's obviously not necessary for me to have it but I just thought it would be cool to check out and utilize with the 3700 if possible. Thanks for the info.
