Tascam DM 3200
Hello friends, I am new using tascam dm 3200. I have the iffwdm mkii card to work on protools. I receive the sound on channels 1 and 2 with its panning but the master is heard in mono. How do I configure the master to sound stereo ?. Thank you

1. Are tou sure that the sound coming out of your DAW is in stereo? You can check this by panning the tracks in your DAW full L or R. The meters / signals coming into the DM (ch 1 and 2) must respond correctly.
2. Check the panning of ch 1 and 2 by turning them full L or R. The meters on the stereo buss must react.
3. If the stereo buss receives stereo signals, the problem is probably in the setup of your monitoring.

Hi. The sound that comes out of the DAW is stereo. Channels 1 and 2 receive the signal well from the DAW. The bread of each channel responds visually in the led meter of the tascam, but the sound is still in mono. What I can be doing wrong? Can someone explain to me how to configure monitoring well? Thank you

The CR monitoring is pretty straight forward:
Ch 1 and 2 must be assigned to the stereo buss (in the output assign section).
Ch 1 panned left and ch 2 panned right.
Faders ch 1, ch 2 and stereo up to desired level.
In the Monitor section, select Stereo.
Make sure that the Mono button is off.
Make sure that the Talkback, Slate and Dim buttons are off.
You now should have stereo monitoring signals on the CR outputs and the two Phones outputs (turn Phones level up).

There are 6 user definable keys (Sel 1-6) that can be used to monitor different sources. They can be assigned in the CR Select part of the monitor screen.

Minor correction: on the DM-3200, there are 3 user definable keys (Sel 1-3).
