DP01FX problem

hey all I have a DP01FX that has not been in use for awhile so I was gong to work with the unit when I plugged it up it didn't work so I thought maybe a power supply went bad somehow so I got a new power supply same exact size and rating, unit did nothing. So I took hard drive out of unit and the unit will power on , lights will come on and screen says No hard drive found please power off. I replaced hard drive with same size and type no nothing no power then unplug the hard drive and it will power up but says no hard drive power unit off.. any advice
