DM 3200 - Pro Tools

Good evening from Berlin. I've finally had a DM3200 for a few days now and I'm excited about this console. However, I'm having trouble connecting the DM3200 to Pro Tools. I can set everything in Pro Tools via Firewire. I also chose the HUI protocol in the console. If I now create an audio track and speak into the microphone, I can see and hear the signal in the DM 3200. In the track of Pro Tools but nothing arrives. No level. The trace remains silent. Can anyone of you help me what I might have done wrong when setting up? Greetings from Berlin (Germany). macy

@Macy Make sure that the routing is correct and that you set the input and outpus buses correctly on the channel that you have placed the microphone on.

Thanks so much. I can now already record in the DAW, but then I don't hear what was recorded. So the return doesn't work. Also I can't find a 5 or 6 in the selection in the midi controller. I only have 1 and 2.

@Macy Kindly provide a little more info on your setup. Operating system, etc. Do you have a USB cable connected between PC and DM. If using a Windows PC do you see your DM and FW in the list?
