Here is my scenario:

DAW -> DM-3200 -> analog mixer

I wish to take DAW multitracks and have them output to individual channels on an
analog mixer for students to "learn" live mixing techniques.

Can my DM-3200 assist me in doing that somehow without having to buy new ADA
interfaces,..??

Many thanks for any ideas....

The DM-3200 is rather limited in analog outputs, but it is very flexible in what you send out of them. If you have an analog extension board for it you'd have 8 extra analog outs, but other than that you're looking at some kind of DA..

In any case, you can route the outputs to your 4 auxes as well. Other than that you need the analog cards and a Behringer ADA8000.

I'm not sure how many tracks your trying to send or how your console is configured of corse, but I've sent track by track copies from the insert sends straight to another source in the past with no problem.. So that in theory should send a balanced copy (via ins-send) of your input signal not affected by what you do on the DM, as well as sending a clean feed to the line inputs on the analog console that you mentioned..,

Hope it works,
Kenny
