DM 3200 + fw if and MAC OS

Hi everyone,

I run on an old MAC PRO with mac os 10.12
I want to buy a DM3200 + FW IF MK2
to exploit the audio interface and control surface too
It will works fine?
anyone knows for sure?

Hi Butch, and welcome to the forums. Like Mark hinted on, most knowledgeable people for your question will be in the 'TASCAM DM-3200 & DM-4800' section of the forums.

I own a DM3200 plus IF-FW mk2, but don't know anything Mac, so try to ask your question in the appropriate forum. I know the IF-FW works with most older Mac OSes, but not the latest one(s?).

I'm using a Mid 2010 Mac Pro with OS 10.12 running Logic. It's the most stable version of DM4800 IF-FW/MacOS/Logic that I've found. Never a problem with it.

It will work for sure. I have used it from 10.7 to 10.14. Some users have apparently have success with 10.15 but my MaxPro is too old for that.

Hi guys,
I’m using Mac Pro with Mojave and logic, DM 4800 as my interface works great and very stable. In a few months looking to getting Mac Studio and keeping the DM4800 as mixer and looking for to set up with RME interface. Any suggestions welcome.
