Hello, I'm trying to control VSTs inside cubase with my BCR2000 controller but it doesn't work as a mackie controller and cubase's generic remote is just a pain, you have to configure it all the time if you change tracks and vst positions. Is there a way (just a crazyyy idea I had) to connect the BCR to tascam via midi and then send those messages to cubase via the tascam, since cubase uses the the mackie control for tascam? I know it's a long shot, but who knows? :D

I am almost 100% sure it does.

The two should be able to work together or separately, but you wouldn't need to connect the BCR to the DM.

I used a BCF2000 in conjunction with the DM with both emulating Mackie MCU. It was in another DAW so I am not sure how to get the same results in Cubase. I would study the BCR a bit more to learn about the emulation modes.

Hi Rockum, The BCF has 4 emulation modes (including mackie) but the BCR has only b-control function, no emulations. So you think I will be able to connect it to tascam and its messages will go through the console to the daw?

Thank you Rockum for all your help! Unfortunately as in the beginning of the video is stated mackie emulation won't work in cubase. I have looked into those sites. I'll try to do my best using generic remote. Thanks!
