4800 with 2x if-fw

My Dear Forum,

I Could not find this here, so here it goes:

My friend just bought a DM4800 for his studio, and he wanted to send 64 Channels Up trought firewire.

The IFFW MKII is 32x32 up to 96khz, and can be used in the SLOT 1 and 3.
Can i Use both of them ? Having 2 IFFW MKII in the DM4800 ?

So Theoretically, if that workds, I can simply create a PT Aggregate IO and have 32x32 + 32x32 IOs.

Anyone tried this yet ?

Correct, the driver will only recognize the first unit it sees.
Users have successfully used a MOTU to TDIF interface in conjunction with the IF-FW/DMmkII to get another 24 channels, that works with the aggregate settings.
