Permalink not working

Permalink doesn't work in Safari or Google Chrome.
Has anyone got it working with other browsers?

I find if I display the page source to find the message number (post number) and manually attach that to the end of the URL for the thread, I can create one. e.g. adding /#post-49496 as shown below.

It'd be nicer if the built in functionality worked though.

Am I missing something?

On links that you have editing rights, you can copy the Edit link and then remove the "/edit" from the end of it. This will put you onto how to craft links.

Similarly, copying the 'like' link on other's posts and removing '/like' gives me the link to the specific post in context - as I wanted!
