No delete function as regards your own posts?

Hi,
I am curious to know why the "delete" function of your own posts has disappeared.
When I joined the forum in May there were three functions below your own posts: "Edit", "Delete" and "Report" in blue. Now the delete possibility is gone which is strange.

Are you talking about the first post (=thread opener) or just another in the row of the discussion? I remember the same discussion at another forum where deleting the first post would have deleted the whole thread. Because a lot of discussion and information would have been lost if allowed.

First post. I could delete my own first post earlier. As long as there are no replies to your first post, it certainly ought to be allowed, if you regret your post.
